Hi all,
Finally it's book out day again. That's what i believe everyone in army is looking forward toward the weekend. During this little time, I spent my morning with chip watching Ratatouille.
It was really a good show like everyone commented. In fact it is as interesting as a little rat was able to become a great chef. "Anyone can cook" just remind me that everyone has this innate potential which have been explained in Nichren Daishonin Buddhism. Everyone has their own potential and it really depend on one's determination in making their dream a reality. Although in the midst of his success he encountered many difficulties, challenges, tough decision and others, he did not gave up but continue to pursue his dream. One thing that i learn from this show is also about trust, how the mouse really trusted remy and treat him as a friend. In fact how mystical is it that 2 different creatures can live together and work together. Anyway, I believe this is one of the best show i have watched this year, given good drawing, music, sound and plot.
After the movie, we went for lunch at 'Pasta de Waraku' located at 'The Central' (The new shopping mall at clarke quay MRT. I have promised chip to go there since 2 weeks ago, but i did not fulfill my words. Food was really great, both of us had spagetti, very unique and there is a wide variety of food that you can choose from. Dessert was also marvelous, must try. By the time we finished our lunch is around 3pm then. Went over to chip's place since later we have meeting. Hang around at her house and had dinner. Haven't gone to her house for meal ever since i enter army. Also take the chance to visit her parents and siblings. Enjoy myself alot alot, makes me treasure the things around me even more. Thank you chip chip.
Time so few, freedom too little.
Weekend is all that i got.
I always love chip.
Regards,
Dale
